THBI has recognized expertise and credibility at the Texas Capitol and is regarded as an industry expert on Healthcare and Bioscience matters. We invite our members to join us in participating in the legislative process by offering their time and providing input into THBI’s legislative agenda. In addition, THBI works with Congressional leaders to promote legislation benefiting the Life Science industry of Texas. (Available to One, Two and Three Level Members)

Texas Legislative Tracking Packet and Biweekly Legislative Session Conference Calls

To facilitate its deep commitment to governmental affairs and the legislative process, THBI prepares and regularly updates a detailed and extensive Legislative Tracking Packet, which our members use throughout the session to keep up to date on the legislation that affects their future. The research and background information included in the Legislative Tracking Packet is reputed to be the best in the industry and is an important membership benefit for all companies with Legislative interests.

For members who seek additional insight and commentary on the information in the weekly legislative packets, THBI provides the opportunity to participate in biweekly legislative conference calls, which focus on the current status of bills monitored in the Legislative Tracking Packet. (Available to One, Two and Three Level Members)

Company Recognition on THBI Website

As companies partner with THBI, we invite One, Two or Three Level Members to place their link on our website to support increased awareness of and access to their company. THBI welcomes opportunities to partner with and support our member companies, with the objective of helping members grow as they help sustain and support our organization. Other Level Members will be listed on the THBI website, but with no link.

Networking and Industry Outreach

THBI provides a complete calendar of events to each member and encourages active member participation at THBI functions. With the chance to interact and exchange ideas with industry leaders and senior government officials and a growing network of member companies, the synergies and networking opportunities available at each event are unlike any other in the industry. Members are invited to sponsor events for increased name recognition and networking opportunities. Events include monthly luncheons, monthly President’s Conference Calls, the Annual Meeting and Gala, numerous life science conferences, and other events.
